October 1957 v Liverpool at Baseball Ground. Liverpool goalkeeper Tommy Younger was carried from the field suffering from an injury to the sciatic nerve which temporarily paralysed him. The giant goalkeeper came back after the interval to limp along at centre-forward until reverting to goal for the last five minutes.
